Supplies Needed
To make your patriotic puppy, you'll need:

- White printer paper or cardstock
- Crayons, markers or colored pencils
- Scissors
- Glue
How To Make Your Patriotic Puppy
Step 1: Print the Template
Download and print the free printable template. For best results, print it on cardstock so the finished puppy is a little sturdier, but regular printer paper works great too.
Step 2: Color and Cut Out the Pieces
Color in the template and then carefully cut out all of the puppy pieces. Younger children may need assistance with some of the smaller shapes, while older kids can practice their scissor skills by cutting everything out themselves.
Step 3: Assemble the Puppy
Using the reference image as a guide, glue the puppy pieces together. Start by attaching the ears, then add the face details and patriotic accessories. Kids can follow the example or get creative and arrange the pieces however they'd like!
