There’s no doubt about it, we are living in crazy times right now. The world is a scary place at the moment and many people’s health is on the line.
My mom called me the other day and said that unfortunately a friend of the family had passed away.
Since going to the card store isn’t exactly safe or easy at the moment, she had asked if I could design a simple sympathy card that she could print herself and then send to the friend’s family.
And it got me thinking that a lot of other people are also unfortunately in the position of needing to send their condolences but can’t get to the store to buy a traditional card. And so I wanted to share with you today a free printable sympathy card that you can download and print in the safety of your own home.

If that is the case and you can’t or don’t want to venture out to the stores, I have created this completely free printable sympathy card that you can download and print right away.
When being together isn’t an option right now, sending a sympathy card can be one way to show those around you that they are on your mind and you are thinking of them during their time of hardship.
Free Printable Sympathy Card
This card is designed to print onto a standard 8.5×11 inch piece of paper. I would highly recommend printing on some type of white cardstock for the most professional look and feel.
Once printed, you can trim the card along the provided guidelines. To do this you could simply use scissors, or if you have a paper cutter at home, that would be ideal to ensure all lines are as straight as possible.
This is the paper cutter that I currently have on my desk and I can highly recommend it.
After the card is cut out, carefully fold it in half. The card should now measure 4×6 inches.
The sympathy card is blank on the inside. The front features a simple yet elegant border and the words “With Deepest Sympathy.”
