How do you set up and play the Thanksgiving scavenger hunt?
First, cut out each of the Thanksgiving-themed images. Using tape or mounting putty, hide the images around your home, classroom, or even outside! Once everything is hidden, give each child a scavenger hunt checklist and let the fun begin.
As kids search for the hidden Thanksgiving images, they can check off each item on their list. Once they've found everything, they can bring their completed checklist back to you and maybe even earn a small prize, sticker, or Thanksgiving treat!
Depending on the ages of the kids participating, you can hide the images in easier or more challenging spots. You can even play this scavenger hunt over and over again by simply changing the hiding places each time!

How to Make Your Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt Last Year After Year
If you want to reuse your Thanksgiving scavenger hunt year after year, I highly recommend laminating both the checklist pages and the individual Thanksgiving images. This will help keep everything in great condition so you can enjoy the game for many holiday seasons to come!
This is the home laminating machine that I personally use in my office, and I absolutely love it!
Simply laminate the Thanksgiving graphics and checklist pages, then cut out each individual image. Kids can use a dry erase marker to check off the items on their checklist as they find them.
Once everyone is finished playing, just wipe the checklists clean and store everything away until next Thanksgiving. It's an easy way to turn this free printable into a reusable holiday activity!

- Glue Sticks: These disappearing purple glue sticks are by far my favorite! I love buying them in bulk since we use them so often!
- Lamination Machine: Laminating printables are a great way to make them last longer. If you are planning on laminating to make games reusable, be sure to get a bunch of dry erase markers as well.
- Dry Erase Pockets: Dry erase pockets are a great alternative to using a lamination machine when wanting to make printable games and activities reusable.

Free Printable Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt Game
This free printable Thanksgiving scavenger hunt is designed to print on three standard 8.5×11 inch sheets of paper. For the best results, I recommend printing the pages on white cardstock, especially the Thanksgiving graphics, to help make them more durable so they can be reused year after year.
Once everything is printed, carefully cut out each Thanksgiving-themed image. Cut lines are included around each graphic to create a neat white border.
You can print as many scavenger hunt checklist pages as you need, depending on how many kids will be playing. If you're printing a large number of checklists for a classroom or Thanksgiving party, you can print those pages in black and white to help save on ink!
