Supplies needed to make a lollipop pumpkin:
- Round lollipops (I used Dum Dums)
- Orange tissue paper
- Green pipe cleaners
- Black Sharpie
- Scissors
Step 1:
After gathering all your supplies, cut an approximately 4 inch square of orange tissue paper. Wrap the tissue paper around the top of the lollipop and secure with a green pipe cleaner. Note: You may need a few layers of orange tissue paper to cover the lollipop wrapper if your paper is thin.
After securing the tissue paper with the pipe cleaner, cut off the ends but leave a little extra to curl the ends for the pumpkin’s leaves.
Step 2:
Depending on the size of your lollipop and tissue paper, you may have to trim the orange paper a little so that there isn’t too much hanging down underneath the pipe cleaner. Next, twist the ends of the pipe cleaner a bit to make the leaves.
Step 3:
Take a black sharpie and draw on the eyes, nose and mouth of the pumpkin. You can give it a cute pumpkin face, or make it into a scary Jack O Lantern. Be creative!
Repeat as many times as you’d like to create this fun lollipop pumpkin patch!
