Christmas time is quickly approaching! What better way to spend time with loved ones this holiday season than to play games. This free printable Christmas Matching Game is a great activity that is simple enough for young kids to play while still being an enjoyable activity for older children and adults as well.

How to play the Christmas Matching Game
One of my favorite things about matching games is that is is a fun game that both kids and adults can play together. This makes it a great bonding activity while getting together with friends and family this Christmas season.
Directions:
First, print out the matching cards (the free printable download link is located at the bottom of this page).
Next, cut along the dotted lines. There will be 16 pairs, totaling 32 cards.
Shuffle the cards and then put them face down ton top of a table in a grid pattern. While there are 16 pairs you can play with, if you are playing with younger children, I’d recommend using only 5-7 pairs to make it a bit easier for them.
To start, each player will take their turn flipping over two cards at a time.
If a match is found, then that player places both cards into a pile next to them. If no match is found, both cards will be turned back over and then it is the next players turn.
Continue on until all matches are found. The person with the most pairs at the end of the game, wins!

Free Printable Christmas Matching Game
This activity was designed to be printed onto two 8.5×11 inch pieces of white printer paper or cardstock. If possible, I would recommend printing out onto cardstock and then laminating the cards so they will be more durable for repeat use.
