When my kids were little it was always a big challenge not necessarily decorating the Christmas tree, but keeping it decorated. After a few failed attempts we finally decided to leave the bottom half of the tree undecorated and keep all of the ornaments up top.
It definitely looked pretty silly but gave us a much better chance to not have ornaments and candy canes pulled off the tree every day.
One way to get little kids involved in decorating the house for Christmas in a safe and fun way is by working on this build a Christmas Tree craft. All you need is some paper, coloring supplies, scissors and glue and your kids can decorate their very own tree to display for the holiday season.
