One of the things I really came to learn this year was how important keeping a stocked pantry is. You never know what might happen and ensuring that you and your family have enough food when times are tough is of the utmost importance.
Non-Perishable food items, cleaning supplies and paper supplies are all items that should be stocked in your home pantry. However, knowing what you already have in your pantry is half the battle.
Personally, I have been guilty of buying the same item over and over again just to come home and see I already have 5 cans of black beans in the pantry already.
And sometimes, items make their way to the back of the pantry. If you don’t go in there knowing what you’re looking for, you might forget what you have. That is where a pantry inventory tracker can come in to help.
I’ve designed this free printable pantry inventory tracker to help you keep track of what you have in your pantry, what you have eaten or used and what you need to buy on your next shopping trip.

Free Printable Pantry Inventory Tracker
This pantry inventory tracker is designed to fit onto a standard 8.5×11 inch piece of paper or cardstock. There are lines to write down the date, item, expiration date and the quantity of items available. You can put an X through however many circles you have items, and then when you use something, you can fill it in completely. It’s a great way to keep track of what you have stored!
Alternatively, you could make the pantry inventory tracker reusable by laminating! Keep reading to find how how!

How to make the pantry inventory tracker reusable:
Instead of printing out a new inventory tracker every time you fill one up, you can easily make the page reusable.
If you have access to a home lamination machine, you can run the page through the machine and then simply use a dry erase marker to write down all of the items available in your pantry. When you have used up an item, you can easily wipe off an X in the quantity section.
This is the home lamination machine that I currently have and I absolutely love it! I swear I look for any excuse I can to laminate everything in my house! Click here to view the lamination machine on Amazon.
Alternatively, if you don’t have a lamination machine, you can also use these really cool dry erase pockets. All you have to do is place the pantry tracker inside the pocket and use a dry erase marker to fill out the inventory sheet. Once you have used up an item, or purchase a new one, you can easily add or remove an X from the quantity section.
For both of these options, I would highly recommend printing on white cardstock if you have some available. It will be more durable and hold up better while being used over and over again.
