Supplies needed:
Feel free to mix up the supplies below and include more or less than what I am suggesting here. The only items I would definitely include would be the play doh as it acts as the monsters body, the googly eyes and the pipe cleaners. Anything else you have on hand would be extra.
Be creative and let your imagination run wild!
**Note: If you are planning on handing these out as favors to very small children, I would recommend leaving out small supplies such as tiny beads that could be potentially be a choking hazard.
- Free printable bag topper (the download link is located at the bottom of this post)
- Mini play doh containers
- Stick on googly eyes of various sizes
- Sequins
- Beads
- Feathers
- Pipe cleaners
- Mini pom poms
- Stiff Felt
- Snack size ziplock bags
- Scissors or a paper cutter
- Stapler

This kit is super simple to put together! All you need to do is place your supplies inside a snack size ziplock bag and then staple the folded bag topper right on top.
You can include anything you would like in your monster supply kit. In my samples, I chose to include play doh, stick on googly eyes, various colored pipe cleaners, some beads, pom poms and a few pieces of felt I cut out to look like feet.

Here are a few samples of monsters I made. I had so much fun putting these little guys together!

Free Printable Make Your Own Monster Kit Bag Topper
This make your own monster bag topper is designed to fit onto a standard 8.5×11 inch piece of paper or cardstock. For the very best quality I would highly recommend printing onto white cardstock.
Two bag toppers will print per page. Once printed, you can trim the bag toppers with either scissors or a paper cutter. This is the paper cutter that I currently use and I can definitely recommend it!
The bag topper measures 6.75 inches wide and will fit nicely onto a standard snack size plastic bag.
Feel free to download and print as many copies of the make your own monster bag toppers as you would like. However, please do not edit or redistribute the files in any way. These bag toppers were created for personal or classroom use only.
