This popsicle stick pumpkin craft is a fun and easy activity for kids to get into the Halloween spirit. After they’re done they can either turn it into a door hanger or even a refrigerator magnet.

Supplies to make one popsicle stick pumpkin craft:
- 11 popsicle sticks
- Glue
- Orange and black paint
- Paintbrush
- Green pipe cleaners
- Tape
- Peel and stick magnets (optional)
First, line up 9 popsicle sticks in a row. Using craft glue or hot glue, place two popsicle sticks diagonally across. Be sure to let the glue dry fully before moving on to the next step.
Turn the popsicle sticks over and paint solid orange.
If you are making a door hanger, take a green pipe cleaner and glue or tape to the back. Since my son was sitting on my lap while I was working on this craft, I opted for tape instead of hot glue. Regular craft glue may not hold well enough for this part.
If you are turning the pumpkin into a magnet, you can use these peel and stick magnets and adhere it to the back instead.
Flip the pumpkin base over and using black paint, create the face. Make it as silly or scary as you’d like!
Once the paint is completely dried, hang your popsicle stick pumpkin on a door or stick it to your refrigerator. It’ll be a cute reminder that Halloween is on its way!
