DIY Pinecone Centerpiece - Rustic Winter Centerpiece Idea

If you read my last post, you'll know that I've been collecting the pinecones around my house for the past few weeks. I knew I could figure out some way to repurpose them into fun fall/winter decor.I created this pinecone centerpiece that I thought would be great for decorating your holiday table, or even as centerpieces for rustic winter themed weddings/bridal showers etc.

Supplies needed to make a pinecone centerpiece:

The first step is to take a piece of burlap and wrap it around the metal bucket. I used a dab of hot glue at the start of the roll and a few additional dabs of glue here and there to help hold the burlap in place.

Once attached, cut off any excess burlap.

Using a piece of ribbon, tie a bow around the burlap.

The next step is to fill the bucket with your branches and pinecones. I placed a few crumpled up paper towels at the bottom of the bucket to give the contents inside a little more height.rustic winter centerpiece idea

And it's as simple as that! You now have a cute rustic winter themed centerpiece for your parties or everyday home decor.

  1. Your rustic winter centerpiece is such a nice tabletop decoration for the holidays. I have a cat and I know that she would not play with this centerpiece. You can even display in after the holidays during the cold, snowy month.
