How to Make a Pom Pom Pinecone Ornament

For the past few weeks I’ve been collecting all of the pinecones that have been falling in my driveway. They were just too pretty to leave there to get squished by our cars!

I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with the pinecones but knew I’d come up with some way to resume them. I’m happy to say I’ve got a bunch of pinecone projects lined up to share with you!

Today’s craft is this cute pom pom pinecone ornament. This would look great hanging on your Christmas tree, or even on an outside tree for some holiday decor.

Supplies needed:

pinecone with twine

First, take your piece of ribbon or twine and tie both ends together. Using hot glue, attach the knotted portion of the twine to the top of the pinecone.

Place a dab of hot glue on each section of the pinecone and glue down a red, green, or white pom pom.

Continue until the entire pinecone is covered in pom poms.
