Supplies needed to make a popsicle stick pom pom ornament:
- Twine, string or ribbon
- Green and yellow paint
- Paintbrush
- Popsicle sticks
- Mini pom poms
- Wooden star
- Glue

The first step is to glue three popsicle sticks into a triangle. I used hot glue because I have no patience! But you could definitely use elmer's glue or another type of craft glue that is safer for younger kids to work with.
Once the glue is completely dry, paint the triangle green.

Cut and tie a piece or ribbon, string or twine. Glue the knotted portion of the string to the top of the triangle.

Now you can glue on mini pom poms to create the Christmas tree lights.

Take a wooden star and paint it yellow. Once the star is completely dry you can glue it to the top of the tree to cover up the knot in the string.

And now you have a simple and cute popsicle stick pom pom ornament that will be a great addition to your Christmas tree this year!
