This free printable hopping paper bunny craft is a super fun activity to make with your kids this Spring. Simply follow the steps below and learn how to make this paper craft that bounces like a bunny!

Supplies needed:
- Free printable template (the download link is located at the bottom of this post
- White cardstock (regular printer paper will work as well but cardstock is highly recommended for the best results
- Crayons, markers or colored pencils (optional)
- Scissors
- Glue
How to assemble the hopping paper bunny
Step 1
Color in the bunny and rectangular strips of paper if desired.
Step 2
Cut all of the pieces out along the solid black lines.
Step 3
Glue the left side of strip B to the right side of strip A to form one long rectangle.
Step 4
Repeat with strips of paper C and D to form another long rectangle.
Step 5
Glue strip A to strip C perpendicular to form a right angle.
Step 6
Fold the bottom strip of paper to the left and then fold the top strip of paper down. Fold to the right and then fold up. Repeat until all of the paper has been folded.
Step 7
Place a dab of glue underneath the top fold to secure the paper spring in place.
Step 8
Fold the tab on the bunny’s feet backwards along the dotted line and place a dab of glue on the back. Place the bottom of the paper spring on top to attach the feet.
Step 9
Fold the tab on the bunny’s head backwards along the dotted line. Place a dab of glue on the spot marked “glue” and attach to the top of the paper spring.
Step 10
Place your finger on top of the paper spring and let to to see your bunny hop!
Free Printable Hopping Paper Bunny Craft
This craft was designed to be printed onto one piece of 8.5×11 inch white printer paper or cardstock. I would very highly recommend using cardstock if possible. The bunny will be more durable and the paper spring will be “springy-er!”
