How do you win the “How many words can you make” activity?

If you are using this game as a classroom activity, you might just want to have your students come up with as many different words as they can, and that be the whole activity.

Alternatively, if you are playing the game at a party, or just want to make things a little bit more challenging and competitive there are a few ways that you can do that.

You can make it into a timed competition.

First, grab a timer and then set it for 3 to 5 minutes. If you happen to be playing with younger kids, you might want to set the timer for a longer amount of time.

Next, when someone says “Go,” each person has to try and come up with as many words as they can before the timer goes off. After the time is up, whichever player has come up with the most amount of words, can win a prize.

And if you would like to make the game a bit more challenging, you can even incorporate a scattergories element to the activity. Continue reading below to find how how!

You can turn the activity into a scattergories game.

For this fun twist, everyone will have to write down as many words as they can before the timer goes off. Make sure that you come up with the most unique words that you can, this is important to winning!

After the timer goes off, each player can go around the room and read out their answers and compare them with one another. If there is another player that has the same answer as you, both of you must cross that word off of your lists. Whichever player has the most unique answers at the end of the game, can win a prize.

How to make the game reusable:

If you would like to reuse this activity as a yearly Easter party game, you might want to take a few extra steps that will save you time reprinting every year. And maybe even save a few trees!

You can use a lamination machine to laminate the games.
If you have access to a lamination machine, you can easily laminate the games and then use dry erase markers to write down the words that you come up with. After you’re done, you can easily wipe away the answers and reuse the game again the next year. This option would be perfect if you are hosting multiple Spring or Easter parties this year or if you are a teacher and would like to reuse the activity with all of your glasses.

This is actually the lamination that I currently have on my desk and I absolutely love it! Click here to check it out on Amazon.

You can use dry erase pockets.
Another really cool idea would be to use these dry erase pockets. First, print out the Easter Bunny activity and then place them into the dry erase pocket and use dry erase markers to come up with the words that you come up with. After you are done with the activity, simply wipe off the answers and reuse!

Tip: For both of these options, I would definitely recommend printing out the games onto white cardstock. This will help to make sure that the game is more durable and can hold up year after year.
