Thanksgiving is all about gratitude, family, friends, food and fun! Once the turkey has been carved and the pumpkin pie has been served, it is a great time to play a festive holiday themed game that gets everyone laughing. This charades game is perfect for you and your loved ones to enjoy this upcoming Thanksgiving.

What is Thanksgiving Charades?

Thanksgiving charades is a fun and interactive party game where each player has to act out a holiday themed word or phrase, all without speaking. The rest of the players will have to try and guess what they are doing. It is a great screen-free activity that is perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy together.

How to Play:

First print out the free Thanksgiving charades cards. (The download link is located at the bottom of this post).

Next, use scissors to cut out the cards along the dotted lines.

Fold each card in half and then place them into a bowl, hat, or any other container you may have.

One player will now choose a card and silently act out the word or phrase while everyone tries to guess what you are acting out. Typically you would set a time limit (1 minute or so) that the players have to guess within.

Whoever correctly guesses the word or phrase before time runs out, earns a point.

Note: For larger groups, divide into two teams where the team who’s turn it is are the only ones allowed to guess the word or phrase.

Take turns until all of the cards have been used. The player or team with the most points at the end, wins!
