Want to make your crossword puzzle reusable? Here’s how!
If you are planning on using this St. Patrick’s Day crossword puzzle as part of a classroom activity or your yearly holiday party, you may want to save some paper and ruse the game every year.
To do this, I would highly recommend using a home lamination machine. This is the lamination machine that I currently have on my desk and I love it! I seriously look for pretty much any excuse I can to laminate things.
All you have to do is place the crossword puzzle in a lamination pocket and then run through the machine. You can then use dry erase markers to fill in all of the answers to the puzzle. When you are done, you can simply wipe off the answers when you are done and then use it again next year!
If you don’t have a home lamination machine, you can also use these dry erase pockets. For this option, all you need to do is to print out the crossword puzzle, place the page inside the pocket and then use the dry erase markers to fill in the crossword puzzle.
For both of these options, I would definitely recommend printing out the puzzle onto cardstock. Cardstock is heavier than regular printer paper and will hold up better if being reused multiple times.
