This week my son came home from school with a note in his folder that asked us to send our kids in with a Valentine’s Day mailbox to collect all of their Valentines from their classmates.
The note suggested a decorated tissue box, a fun bag and a few other options. I decided that it might be fun to try and make a printable Valentine’s Day mailbox that he could bring in.
Today, I’m excited to share with you this free printable Valentine’s Day mailbox that you can download instantly, print at home and assemble in a matter of minutes!
It is great for collecting Valentines in the classroom or simply having as holiday decor around the house.
Materials needed to assemble the mailbox:
- Free printable download (the link is located at the bottom of this post)
- White cardstock
- Scissors
- Glue
How to put together the Valentine’s Day mailbox:
After downloading and printing out the pdf template, cut out all of the pieces and then fold along the dotted lines.
I would highly recommend using white cardstock to print on as it is heavier than standard printer paper and will produce a much nicer end result.
Next, glue the top portion of the mailbox onto the base.
Attach the back of the mailbox by placing glue onto the folded tabs.
Glue the pull tab onto the front flap and then attach it to the front of the mailbox.
Finally, add the flag to the side of the mailbox and enjoy!

This mailbox was designed to be printed onto 3 standard 8.5×11 inch pieces of white cardstock.
