Valentine’s Day I Spy – Free Printable Valentine’s Day Games and Activities

Today, I wanted to share this fun free printable Valentine’s Day I Spy game. This activity would be great for holiday classroom parties, play dates, or just a fun way to keep the kids entertained on a rainy day.

Unlike Christmas, which tends to get an entire month of celebration, Valentine’s Day is one of those holidays that typically only get attention on or around on the holiday itself.

However, I think that Valentine’s Day is such a sweet holiday (“sweet” holiday.. get it?!) that deserves some more celebration. We could all use some more love in our lives!

To get your kids or students in the spirit of Valentine’s Day this year, print out this fun I Spy game and start searching for 9 Valentine’s Day themed pictures. Don’t worry, I’ve included an answer key as well in case you get stumped!

Everyone will have a lot of fun trying to find all of the love themed pictures. Hearts, balloons, bow and arrows, teddy bears and more!

How do you play Valentine’s Day I Spy?

It’s super easy! All you need to do is search in box above and count how many of each picture you see. Write down the correct number on the lines next to each picture. To make it a bit more challenging, I’ve also included a few extra images the box as well.

Tip: If you are playing the Valentine’s Day I Spy game with younger kids, they can draw an X over each image as they count them. If they’d like, they can also color in each picture as the count them. This would also be a great way to extend the length of game a bit and allow the kids to be more creative.

Favorite Printable Supplies:

These are a few of my favorite supplies that I use for printable games and activities:

  • White Cardstock: For most projects, I recommend printing onto cardstock. It is much more durable than standard printer paper and often produces a higher quality print.
  • Crayons: A staple in any crafting household. Crayola is always the top notch choice!
  • Kid Friendly Safety Scissors: These are perfect for little kids learning how to use scissors. They cut paper but not fingers or hair!
  • Glue Sticks: These disappearing purple glue sticks are by far my favorite! I love buying them in bulk since we use them so often!
  • Lamination Machine: Laminating printables are a great way to make them last longer. If you are planning on laminating to make games reusable, be sure to get a bunch of dry erase markers as well.
  • Dry Erase Pockets: Dry erase pockets are a great alternative to using a lamination machine when wanting to make printable games and activities reusable.
  • Printer: A high quality printer is always recommended for the best results. If you are in need of a printer this Brother Wireless Printer is a great choice.
