This free printable Summer color by number worksheet is a fun activity to work on during a playdate, on a rainy day, or for when the kids need a break from the Summer heat.

I think we can all agree that coloring is a lot of fun and great for kids (and adults!) of a wide variety of ages.
One way to add a little something extra to a regular coloring page is by working on a color by number worksheet.
What is a color by number worksheet?
At the top of the page you will see a key that tells you which number corresponds with which color. For instance, in this Summer color by number, the number 1 means that you would color each section with the number 1, orange.
You will go through each section and color it in with whatever color the number says to. Afterwards, you will have a beautiful colored Summer scene that is definitely worthy of displaying on the fridge!
If your kids aren’t able to read quite yet, you can draw a small circle of the corresponding color next to each number in the key at the top of the page. This way, they can have a visual guide to the coloring page.

- Lamination Machine: Laminating printables are a great way to make them last longer. If you are planning on laminating to make games reusable, be sure to get a bunch of dry erase markers as well.
- Dry Erase Pockets: Dry erase pockets are a great alternative to using a lamination machine when wanting to make printable games and activities reusable.
