Supplies needed:

  • Free printable puzzle template (the download link is located at the bottom of this post)
  • White printer paper or cardstock
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crayons, markers or colored pencils

How to use the cut and paste puzzle

Step 1: Print out the two puzzle pages

The first thing you’ll want to do is print out both pages of the puzzle onto white printer paper or cardstock.

The first page will contain the mixed up puzzle pieces. The second page will contain the boxes to which you will be gluing the pieces.

Step 2: Cut out the puzzle pieces

Next, using scissors or a paper cutter, begin cutting out all of the mixed up puzzle pieces and placing them face up on a table.

Step 3: Put together the puzzle

Each piece of the puzzle contains a number. Begin by gluing each piece to the spot with the same number on the puzzle sheet.

Continue this process until the entire puzzle has been completed.

Step 4: Color in the picture

Now that the image has been revealed, you can use crayons, markers or colored pencils to color in the picture.

Now that your puzzle has turned into beautiful artwork, you can hang it up on the fridge, a wall or anywhere else that needs some fun and festive Winter decor.
